How it works

Drills + templated blocks

Keep a library of your own drills (category, skill focus, duration, diagram). In the builder, drop in a drill, a custom block, or a one-tap template like Warm-up skate, Fast laps, Water break or Scrimmage.

The ice-time budget

Set the available ice minutes for the session. A meter shows planned vs available and turns red with 'N over' if you've packed in too much — so the plan fits the ice you've actually got.

Rink diagrams

Upload a diagram (an IHS export or any image) and attach it to the whole plan, and to individual blocks with their own notes. The printable sheet shows the diagrams and a running clock.

The AI planner

Short on planning time? Ask the AI planner for a session draft — it works from your squad's real assessment gaps, so the blocks lean into what the group actually needs. You stay the coach: edit, reorder or bin any block before publishing.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Training Plans and click 'New plan'.
  2. 2Or ask the AI planner for a draft built from your squad's gaps, then edit it.
  3. 3Set the ice time, then add drills and quick-add template blocks.
  4. 4Watch the budget meter so the session fits the ice.
  5. 5Attach rink diagrams + notes, then print the bench sheet.
