Setup and format
A tournament starts from its constraints: the teams entered, the number of surfaces, match length, gaps between games, and how often the ice is cut. Choose a format — groups, straight knockout, or groups feeding placement brackets — and the structure builds itself.
The calculated schedule
The planner works forward from your first face-off and produces the full day: every fixture, every break, every resurfacing, and the finish time. Change a constraint and the day recalculates.
- Fixtures assigned across surfaces automatically
- Ice cuts inserted on your rule (e.g. every three games)
- A finish time you can put on the entry pack
The public hub and live day
Publishing creates a public page — schedule, standings, bracket — that updates as your staff enter scores. Visiting teams and families refresh the same page the organisers run the day from. A tokenised scorer link lets a helper at the bench enter results without an account.
Step by step
- 1Open Tournaments and click 'New tournament'.
- 2Add teams, surfaces, match length, gaps and your ice-cut rule.
- 3Pick the format — groups, knockouts, placement games.
- 4Review the calculated schedule and adjust constraints until the day fits.
- 5Publish the public hub and share the link with entered teams.
- 6On the day, enter scores from the bench — standings and the bracket update live.
