Connect GoCardless from Finance settings.

How it works

Connecting GoCardless

The owner connects the club's GoCardless account from Finance settings. GoCardless handles the bank mandates; their standard transaction fees apply at cost — RinkTracker adds no markup and never touches the money.

Plans, mandates and collection

Create subscription plans (e.g. U14 monthly subs), assign families, and invite them to set up a Direct Debit mandate from the portal. Collections run on schedule; failures retry automatically.

  • Plans per age group or squad
  • Parents authorise the mandate once, in the portal
  • Failed collections retry without anyone chasing

Reconciliation you can trust

GoCardless webhooks post every event back into the ledger — collected, failed, charged back — so what the bank saw is what the ledger says. Chargebacks reverse the ledger entry cleanly instead of leaving a mystery.

Step by step

  1. 1Open Finance › Settings and connect the club's GoCardless account.
  2. 2Create a subscription plan with an amount and collection day.
  3. 3Enrol players and invite their families.
  4. 4Parents authorise the Direct Debit mandate from the portal.
  5. 5Collections run monthly — watch the ledger reconcile itself.
