Getting started

RinkTracker is invite-only. To create an academy you need an invite code in the form RT-XXXXXXXX, issued by the platform admin. If you don't have one yet, use the Request a demo link in the header to ask for one.

Before you begin

You'll set things up faster if you have a few details to hand:

• Your invite code (RT-XXXXXXXX).
• The name you want to give your academy.
• Your first team's details — a name, an age group (for example U12, U14 or U16) and the season.
• A handful of players to start with — for each one, their name, number, position, which way they shoot and their birth year.

Step by step

1. Sign up with your invite code. On the sign-up screen, enter your RT-XXXXXXXX code along with your email and a password. The code ties your new account to a fresh, isolated academy workspace.
2. Name your academy. The first thing you do after signing up is give your academy its name. You become its Admin — the owner with full control.
3. Add your first team. Create a team with a name, an age group (such as U12/U14/U16) and a season. You can add as many teams as you need.
4. Add players to the team. For each player, record their name, number, position (C, LW, RW, D or G), which way they shoot (Left or Right) and their birth year.
5. Invite your staff. Once your roster is in, bring in your coaches and staff so they can start working alongside you.
